Gainsborough Park Vineyard Chardonnay

Stonier Gainsborough Park Vineyard Chardonnay is sourced solely from the dry grown Gainsborough Park Vineyard on the Mornington Peninsula, planted in 1991.

At a higher elevation than other Stonier sites, the fruit tends to ripen 1-2 weeks later. The grapes are handpicked.

Whole bunch pressed and unclarified juice is fermented and matured in new and seasoned French oak puncheons. Malolactic fermentation is permitted as necessary to balance the acidity.

Pale straw, Stonier Gainsborough Park Vineyard Chardonnay is textural and earthy with intense fruit flavours and buoyant acidity. Cellaring potential is five years.
